First Things First — Ask the Right Questions

Should I include reproductions of my art as part of my art career strategy? If so, what is the best way to go about publishing my art?”
——————————————————————————–

Artists who accurately answer the above questions and effectively execute around them invariably enjoy print market success. My art consulting goal is to shortcut your path to print market success and help you avoid expensive non-productive distractions.

In-depth Telephone Art Marketing Consulting

Let me help you get your visual art career on track in the art print market with:

  • Gaining confidence in self-publishing your art versus using a publisher
  • Assessing resources and media choices
  • Devising a workable strategy to progress your art print career

——————————————————————————–

We will focus on consultations that will help you make realistic achievable goals and avoid costly mistakes in launching your career.

Some typical questions artists ask in initial sessions are:

  • Determine if they have the necessary resources to answer if they should self publish my art or to seek a publisher
  • Gain a clear understanding of what it takes to self-publish and to work with a publisher
  • Make a decision on which medium to use for their prints

——————————————————————————–

If you have had some success already and are looking to move to higher levels of recognition and prosperity these areas should be of interest to you:

  • Which markets to pursue, i.e., posters, giclees, etc.
  • What category or which specific publishers to seek
  • What kinds of marketing, advertising and tradeshow strategies would work best for them if they are planning to self-publish their images
  • How to pull together a cohesive marketing and promotion strategy based on available resources, goals and market conditions
