Advertising Rates & Specifications for How to Profit from the Art Print Market 2nd Edition
PAGE SIZE:
The full page size is 6” x 9” with a .625 margin required on top, bottom, left and right sides of the page.
MATERIALS:
PDF files are preferred Submitted PDF files must have embedded fonts in them.
Microsoft Word documents (additional charges apply) can be substituted for PDF files. Our graphics department will need to convert your Word document into a PDF file.
CHARGES FOR SETTING A WORD DOCUMENT:
Due to extra time and final proof approval, there is a $75 pre-paid typesetting/graphics charge to set, convert and proof a Word document into a pdf file. Minor modifications will not incur additional charges. Other modifications will be billed at $75 per hour on a half-hour basis.
PAGES ARE BLACK & WHITE ONLY:
All ads are black & white. All images included should be black & white and set a 300 dpi. We can use a lower dpi, but your reproduction quality will be lessened as a result.
ADVERTISING POSITION:
All advertisements will be on right hand pages in either Chapter Sixteen: Giclees and Digital Prints or in the Resources section, to be determined by the publisher. Advertising positions are assigned on a first-come first-serve basis.
LISTINGS IN RESOURCES SECTION:
Giclée printers who advertise in the book also will be listed in the Resources section of the book. Your advertising in the book entitles you to a free Premium Listing in the www.GicleeBusiness.com online giclée printer directory and fine art business resource.
Advertisers’ listings will be a simple bold single line with the company name and Web address displayed. All other giclée printers will have an opportunity to advertise their businesses in the online www.GicleeBusiness.com directory.
PROOFS:
If a preferred pdf is supplied with fonts embedded, it will be considered a final proof. As such, it is critical for advertisers to check their advertising materials thoroughly before submitting. Any changes to a final proof pdf file will be charged at $75 per hour on a half-hour basis.
If a Microsoft Word document is supplied, a pdf proof will be sent for final approval. See the deadlines below to understand the advertiser’s responsibility to approve a final pdf proof.

DEADLINES:
The book is published in print-on-demand format. As such, new files can easily be uploaded to the printer. This means as soon as we have payment and approved ad materials we can get your ad included. If suppliers, such as Amazon.com, have a stock on hand, your ad will not be seen until that existing stock depletes.
RATES:
Only full-page ads are accepted for inclusion in the book. There are three payment options.
Option 1. - $995.00 – Single Payment
Includes 30 promotional copies shipped with the first copies from pre-order or first copies from the post pre-order, whichever is applicable.
Option 2. - $1050.00 – Two Payments of $525.00 each
Includes 15 promotional copies shipped with the first copies from pre-order or first copies from the post pre-order, whichever is applicable.
- First $525.00 payment due immediately
- The second $525.00 payment due 45 days after the initial payment. The additional 15 copies will be shipped to the advertiser upon receipt of payment.
You will receive an invoice in advance for your final payment.
Option 3. – $1100 – Three Payments
- The first payment $400.00 is due immediately. Ten promotional copies ship immediately off the first press order. Ten copies will ship with payment received for each of the subsequent due receipts in January and February.
- The second payment of $350.00 is due 45 days after the initial payment.
- The third and final payment of $350 is due 30 days after the second payment.
You will receive an invoice in advance for each of the remaining payments.
